WHO can separate us from the LOVE of God.
Sitting in my prayer room this morning - picturing the crosses filled with names of
- loved ones
- lost ones
- lukewarm ones.
to partner with
- the one WHO hung on the cross
- encounter
- engage
- exchange
- loved ones
- lost ones
- lukewarm ones.
WHO - will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.
WHO - is he that condemns?
Christ Jesus, WHO died. More than that WHO raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
WHO shall separate us (or our loved ones, lost ones, lukewarm ones) from the love of God.
Our prayers, our intercession, our standing in the gap - closes the chasm between God and man.
WHO ... HIM and YOU!
Press on saints.

I visited the prayer room last weekend and looked upon these names. These are the names of those who are loved by the Lord. What an awesome privilege we have to partner with God in calling them to love Him. It is sobering and exciting. What a merciful God we serve that He would use us!
Romans 10: 20 says, "And Isaiah says boldly: 'I was found by those who were not looking for Me; I revealed Myself to those who were not asking for Me."
Lord, may You be found by those whose names are on the cross, those who are not looking for You. We love You and thank you that You hear our prayers.
Praying for lost, loved and hard to love ones, that His grace extends in and through us to those He has placed our assignments to love, work with, listen to and bring His hope and encouragement...! Thank you Mary Jo, Intercessory Prayer team and Dutch for this wonderful series of lessons.
I offer the following from one of this week's devotional readings, that highlights "restful confidence" as we engage and walk with Him.... :
Time with God by Charles Swindoll, page 309:
"Blessed and happy are they who have a sweet faith in Jesus, intertwined with deep affection for Him, for this is a restful confidence. These lovers of Jesus are charmed with His character and delighted with His mission; they are carried away by the loving-kindness that He has manifested, and therefore they cannot help trusting Him, because they so admire, revere and love Him…
… We love Him and He loves us, and therefore we put ourselves into His hands, accept whatever He prescribes, and do whatever He bids. We feel that nothing can be wrongly ordered while He is the director of our affairs, for He loves us too well to let us perish or suffer a single needless pang.”
