We have had several people tell us that God has been waking them up at night with prayer assignments. Have you given Him permission to wake you up? What has He been telling you? How have you responded? "I lie down and sleep; I wake again, for the Lord sustains me." (Psalm 3:5)

The last few nights, I have had a student on my heart. (I am a school teacher.) This student left early on Friday for a family emergency and I hadn't heard anything since. Last night and this morning, I was up really early praying for him and his family. Once I got to work today, I had received an email and with a phone number that I can call while he is out. Now I can find out what the situation is and how to better pray for them.
Will you let God bother you? What a question. It hit the target with me and I have been asking Him to make me more aware in this area.
Last night He awakened me and I did pray. GLORY!!
Speaking of being "bothered" by God in the middle of the night, is anyone being bothered right now. It is 2:20 AM on sunday Oct 5, and I feel like I am in a battle. If you are awake would you please pray? I feel sick and God is wanting to teach me to walk in health. Also, there is a member of our household who is caught in the enemies trap of addiction. She is walking in deception. I feel that the real reason that I am up is to interceed for her, but the burden is overwhelming to me. Intercession is all new to me and I am struggling. I have been playing the New Life worship CD's all night. Please pray that this member of our household would have her eyes opened and that she would reach out to the Overcomer - Jesus, and be set free. Three young children are involved also. Also, I want to know God in all His fulness and I feel that is what He is trying to do tonight. Please help be bear this burden. Thank you.

I never realized the importance of being awaken in the night to pray till one day I followed up on the burden. After praying thru the night and then portions of the next day...I called the party I had been praying for... It was across the globe in Maun Botswana Africa.. Little did I know, they had lost everything to fire that night I had been praying... They were grief stricken..Father God had people around the world carrying them in prayer. The fruit that came out of this tragedy for the kingdom was huge! Only He can give beauty for ashes...
